Sivelia is a goddess known only from a single inscription Le Mans, France (AE 1984, 642) where she is assimilated with Sirona and invoked as Serona Sivelia along with the healer deity Apollo Atesmerius.
Sivelia is an aspect of the Gaulish goddess Sirona, and probably represents the healing form of this goddess; a proposition that is strengthened by the invocation of Serona Sivelia with the Celtic healing from of Apollo as Apollo Atesmerius. The goddess' name can be interpreted as being derived from the reconstructed proto-Celtic elements: *sī- (she) and *wello- (better, which gives the Cymric word gwell) along with the feminine ending *-a. Thus Sivelia's name can be interpreted as 'She [who makes us] Better'.
