Tiana is a goddess known from a single inscription found at Topusko, Croatia where she is invoked along with the god, Vidasus. Unfortunately no information about this goddess' attributes survive. However, it does seem likely that this goddess' name is etymologically linked to the name of the Celtic mother goddess Ana.

Etymologically Tiana's name can be derived from the Irish Anu or Annan meaning wealth or abundance. The reconstructed protot-Celtic lexicon also gives the follwing possible derivation for the name: *anatī (soul, spirit) *ana- (breathe, remain) both suggesting an interpretation of 'engendering spirit' (in terms of giving life) so that the name Ana could be indicative of a deity type of the 'first mother' kind. The initial particle of the goddess' name Ti is more problematic in terms of interpretation, even though it occurs in the name of the Celtiberian deiry Tilenus (Ti- and Lenus). In the reconstructed proto Indo-European lexicon the particle *-ti- is a particle used to convert abstract nouns into verbal roots. Thus, used in conjunction with the 'Abundance' and 'Wealth' meanings of Ana suggests that possible interpretations for Tiana would be: 'The Abundant One', 'The Wealth Provider'.
