Ethiopian Salad Recipe

Origin: Ethiopia      Period: Traditional

This is a classic side-salad as made by all the best Ethiopian restaurants.

Ingredients:

1 iceberg lettuce, shredded
1 tomato, diced
1 jalapeño chilli, thinly sliced (do not remove the seeds)
1 red onion, chopped
60ml Italian salad dressing

Ethiopian Salad Preparation:


Method:

Combine all the vegetables in a bowl and toss to mix. Add the salad dressing and toss to combine. Serve with injera, collard greens (gomen) and your choice of Ethiopian stew.
