Horseradish Relish RecipeOrigin: East Africa Period: Traditional |
Ingredients:
50g onions, thinly sliced
Horseradish Relish Preparation:Method:Add the butter to a pan and when molten add the onions. Fry for a minute then add the tomatoes and keep frying until the onions are soft and translucent. Add the grated horseradish, coconut milk and turmeric and simmer for 10 minutes. Meanwhile combine the cornflour with the water and mix until well combined. Add this to the coconut milk and horseradish mix and cook until slightly thickened. This relish can be served either hot or cold with meats or poultry. |
